Etymology
Cognate with standard Japanese おまえ【お前・御前】 omae "my lord; you". Attested as early as in the Okinawan language dictionary (1896), by Masayo Nakamoto.

Though common in the 19th and early 20th centuries, this term no longer appears to be in use.
