Possibly related to Kagoshima しいぼ shiibo; Amami (Yuwan) じィーぼ jïïbo; Okinawan (Yomitan) じゅーぶ juubu; and standard Japanese しっぽ【尻尾】 shippo and しりお shirio "tail".
