Mandarin là; Cantonese laap6; Min Dong lăk; Hokkien la̍h and la̍p; Sino-Korean 랍 rap and 납 nap; Sino-Vietnamese rệp, lạp and sáp), reconstructed for Middle Chinese as *lap.
