Cognate to Nagano, Fukuoka and Kagoshima (Tanegashima) こじき kojiki; Nagasaki こおじき koojiki; Kagoshima こしき koshiki; Miyazaki and Kagoshima こしっ koshiq; Amami くじき kujiki; Okinawa (Shuri) くんち kunchi, くんちゃ kuncha and くんちゃー kunchaa; Miyako (Hirara) and Yaeyama (Ishigaki) くんきゃー kunkyaa; Yaeyama くんきゃ kunkya; and Yonaguni くつぁ kutsa "leprosy, leper". Related to Tokunoshima (Asama) くぜぃーき kuzïïki; Okinawa (Nago) くんかー kunkaa and くんきゃー kunkyaa; and standard Japanese こじき【乞食】 kojiki and its variant こつじき kotsujiki "beggar".
