Etymology
Cognate to the Japanese term こしゅ【古酒】 koshu "aged alcohol", or more specifically, "aged sake".
Notes
Though the term くーす kuusu is related to the Japanese term こしゅ【古酒】 koshu, it differs in that it is made through a process of distillation (as in Awamori), rather than brewing (as in Sake).
