- Tonfa, Tong fa or Tuifa is a traditional wooden Okinawan weapon used in martial arts that resembles a side-handle baton (also known as a T-baton or a nightstick). It is usually wielded in pairs.
Notes
The weapon is known as 【柺】 guǎi in Chinese and is believed to have originally stemmed from a mortar or mallet used to pound rice.
