Notes

Following the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, the Japanese Meteorological Agency introduced high temperature advisories in order to warn the public of high temperature and humidity levels. This was done mainly to try to lower energy demands in order to prevent a blackout and to notify the public of possible heat stroke dangers.
