Etymology

Derived from the honorific prefix 【御】 gu-, the noun ぶりー【無礼】 burii "discourtesy, rudeness", and the past form of the polite auxiliary さびーん sabiin. Related to the Kagoshima expression ごぶれさあ goburesaa "excuse me".
